SIGNWAVE Announces Record-Breaking Results and Makes an Offer to Independent Print and Sign Shop Owners

  • 2016 on track for a 10% sales increase
  • Average centre revenue volumes on track to hit $1 million
  • Plans for expansion to appeal to independent print and sign shop owners
  • Offering qualified franchisee prospects the opportunity to meet with International CEO, Catherine Monson during her Australian visit in October

SIGNWAVE, the leading visual communications/sign and graphics franchise with more than 615 centres worldwide (known as FASTSIGNS internationally) has announced a 10% YTD increase in sales across its Australian centres. This takes sales growth to 30% since the Australian licencees took over the master franchise three years ago.

In the almost three years since general manager, Linda Sultmann and franchise development manager, Dean Rowland took over the helm of the Australian arm of FASTSIGNS International, SIGNWAVE has enjoyed steady growth with sales rising 13.3% in 2014, by 3.6% in 2015 and on track to reach 10% in 2016.

“We did our research and knew the signage industry has a great future and enough market demand for our centres to improve their sales and profit margins,” said Sultmann. “Being part of the FASTSIGNS network means there is a wealth of systems and industry knowledge available to SIGNWAVE franchisees that provide them with significant advantages over the competition. For the past three years, we have focused on rolling out a comprehensive marketing program and providing hands-on sales and operations support and the results speak for themselves.”

SIGNWAVE now plans to expand its Australian presence by offering conversion and co-branding opportunities to independent sign and print shop owners. “Now is a great time to consider joining the SIGNWAVE/FASTSIGNS brand,” said Sultmann. “Diminishing demand in small format print and greater demand for more complex visual display solutions can stretch even the most experienced small business owner. Joining SIGNWAVE strengthens their capabilities with a “big business” style marketing program as well as dedicated support professionals and systems that foster growth.”

Meet Catherine Monson

SIGNWAVE is now offering prospective SIGNWAVE franchisees the opportunity to meet with Catherine Monson, the international head of the SIGNWAVE/FASTSIGNS brand when she visits Australia in October.

At a limited seat roundtable in Sydney on Tuesday, 11 October, Catherine Monson will share insight into the company, what it takes to run a highly profitable SIGNWAVE centre and answer questions. Anyone interested in attending this event should contact SIGNWAVE at enquiries@signwave.com.au

“Our franchise model has been phenomenally successful around the world because it is beneficial to all parties involved. The FASTSIGNS/SIGNWAVE brand is in high demand worldwide due to the work being produced by our centres and the systems, training and support that guide them,” said Catherine Monson, CEO of FASTSIGNS International. “We continue to be impressed by the great results achieved by the Australian SIGNWAVE franchisees and look forward to establishing new relationships with enterprising, potential franchisees interested in continuing that tradition.”
